Free letter from Santa - Father Christmas

Many companies charge around a tenner a time to reply to children's letters to Father Christmas.

Forget that.

Get a free one, yes FREE, by simply writing to:

Santa
Santa's Grotto,
Reindeerland
XM4 5HQ

Santa has asked all children to "make sure they write the address carefully on a stamped envelope, and include their full name and address" so he can write back.

The letter needs to be received by Santa or one of his little helpers at the above address by December the 6th. Make sure you include a reply address. (Even though Santa is magical, he does have his work cut out at this time of the year, so help him out a little bit!) Then Santa will write back.

This service is provided free by Royal Mail, not that we're calling your postman an Elf.

Delivery before Christmas Eve is not guaranteed, Royal Mail says "Santa will reply to as many letters as he possibly can", but he is snowed under (literally) at this time of year, so he may have to send some replies after Christmas, when he'll thank people for their letters and wish them a Happy New Year.

The earlier you send off your letter, the greater the chance you'll get your reply before the big day.

You can get one in braille, large print or audio CD FREE from RNIB, just write to:

Make sure to include the following information with your letter:

• Your name and address (or the name of the child and their address)
• The age of the child
• A contact number (in case RNIB have a query)
• Format required: uncontracted braille (grade 1), contracted braille (grade 2), large print (please specify the font size) or audio CD
• Your language preference: English or Welsh

The closing date for letters to Santa from RNIB is Tuesday 1 December 2015.
